Restaurants in Bartlett, TN: Where Locals Eat on Stage Road and Beyond

TL;DR
The best restaurants in Bartlett, TN, verified October 2026: Side Porch Steak House (a Stage Road steakhouse since 1976), Brad's Bar-B-Q (hickory pit since 1973), Fat Larry's for barbecue and plate lunches, Captain Kal's seafood steamer, Angelo's Little Italy, and Voodoo Cafe's beignets. Nineteen spots inside Bartlett, grouped by craving, with hours from each restaurant's own site.
Restaurants in Bartlett, TN, the Shelby County suburb northeast of Memphis, mostly sit along Stage Road, US Highway 70, and US Highway 64, with a cluster in Old Town Bartlett where Bartlett Boulevard meets the railroad. The town has a steakhouse that's been cooking since 1976, a hickory barbecue pit that dates to 1973, and a Memphis in May grand champion's legacy on Highway 70. Search for it, though, and half the results are about Bartlett, Illinois.
So we built the local list. Every restaurant below has a Bartlett address, and we checked each one at its own website in October 2026, reading the street and ZIP rather than trusting the name. Bartlett's ZIP codes (38133, 38134, 38135) also cover parts of Memphis, so a 38134 address alone doesn't make a place Bartlett. Hours appear only where the restaurant prints them. Headed south or east? We also have Cordova, Germantown, and Collierville restaurant guides. — Josh

Opened in 2008 by Larry, a Memphis in May grand champion in 1999. Mon–Thu 11am–8pm, Fri to 9, Sat noon–9; closed Sundays.
- Ty's Smokehouse7174 Stage Rd
A quick-service smokehouse with brisket, turkey, and baby back ribs on the menu, plus wings that are smoked, then fried and tossed to order. Its tailgate and sampler packs make it a party-order regular. Mon 10:30am–3pm, Tue–Sat 10:30am–8pm; closed Sundays.
- Tops Bar-B-Q6745 Stage Rd
The Memphis barbecue-and-burger chain, in business since 1952, with an early start: breakfast until 10:30am. Sun–Wed 6:30am–10pm, Thu–Sat to 11pm, and the last hour is drive-thru only.

Closed, moved, or not what it seems
A few Bartlett names still circulate that you shouldn't plan around without checking first. As of October 2026, Sekisui's own website lists only its three Memphis rooms (East Memphis, Pacific Rim, and Midtown), even though a Bartlett listing still turns up in search. Chef Flava's lists a Memphis address on Stage Road on its own site, so we haven't counted it here.
We also couldn't confirm several longtime names at a source of their own this round: Memphis Mojo Cafe on Highway 64, Baby Jack's BBQ on Highway 70, Lotus Thai and Brickhouse Buffet on Bartlett Boulevard, Thai Bistro, Pier 64, Taste of Paradise, and Los Pilares on Stage Road, and Maciel's by Wolfchase. Call before you go, and we'll add them once we can verify them. Chains (Firebirds, LongHorn, Abuelo's, and the rest of the Highway 64 strip) are left off on purpose.
