TL;DR

The best Southaven restaurants cluster at Silo Square: Central BBQ, Georgia Blue's blue plates, Tekila's modern Mexican, Staks for pancakes, and Sippin Silo's wine on tap. For a steak, Ember & Oak and Mesquite Chop House sit on Getwell. Near Landers Center, Huey's and Naru handle pre-show dinner. Gus's and Dan McGuinness anchor Goodman Road. 25 Southaven spots, checked October 2026.

Southaven restaurants used to mean a drive down Goodman Road past the chains. Then Silo Square filled in around its bell tower, and now the Getwell corridor between the state line and Snowden Grove has a real dinner scene: barbecue, blue plates, a wine bar, a steakhouse or two, and a pancake line on Saturday morning.

So here's the list we'd hand a friend: 25 local spots in Southaven, plus one worth knowing next door, each checked at its own website in October 2026, with hours wherever the restaurant publishes them. Chains are out unless they're homegrown in Memphis or Mississippi. Making a day of it? Our things to do in Southaven guide has the concerts, parks and shopping. — Josh

What changed, so you don't drive to a dark window

Belly Acres has closed its Memphis-side rooms, so Silo Square is now its only metro location. Mesquite Chop House is Southaven-only as well. The Grillehouse on Getwell is gone; Ember & Oak Prime opened in its space in 2024. Brown Baguette Bakery Cafe has closed, and a dessert bar was reported in July 2026 to be taking over its storefront.

A few names that turn up in older Southaven lists aren't on this one because we couldn't confirm they're open today: Elfo Grisanti's on Getwell and the Sidecar Cafe on Venture Drive (its Memphis location closed in June 2025). If either confirms, it goes back on the list. Every restaurant above was checked at its own site in October 2026.

Southaven restaurant questions, answered

What are the best restaurants in Southaven, MS?

For a sit-down dinner, start at Silo Square: Central BBQ, Georgia Blue, Tekila Modern Mexican, and Belly Acres share a walkable block, with Sippin Silo for wine after. For steak, Ember & Oak Prime and Mesquite Chop House are both on Getwell Road. Gus's on Goodman Road is the fried chicken stop.

Where should I eat before a show at Landers Center?

Huey's at 7090 Malco Blvd and Naru at 6585 Towne Center Loop are both a few minutes from the arena at 4560 Venture Dr. For a show at the BankPlus Amphitheater instead, eat on Getwell: Lost Pizza, 10th Inning, Tekila, or the Silo Square restaurants are a short drive or walk across the Snowden District bridge.

What restaurants are in Silo Square?

As of October 2026: Central BBQ, Georgia Blue, Tekila Modern Mexican, Belly Acres, Staks, Lucky Dog Music Hall, Sippin Silo wine bar, Pars & Pints, Beans & Leaves coffee, City Hall Cheesecake, and the sandwich counter at South Point Grocery, plus a handful of national chains. More of the district, including the festivals, is in our Southaven guide.

Where can I get brunch in Southaven?

Staks at Silo Square does pancakes and breakfast every morning. Tekila serves breakfast until 11am and brunch 11am–2pm on Saturday and Sunday, and Mesquite Chop House does Sunday brunch 10am–2pm. Our Memphis brunch guide covers the rest of the metro.

Is Southaven close to Memphis restaurants?

Yes. Southaven is the first city south of the state line on I-55, so Whitehaven and the airport area are minutes away. If you're comparing suburbs, see our guides to Germantown restaurants, Collierville restaurants, and Cordova restaurants, or start with the best restaurants in Memphis.
