Opera's Greatest Hits at the Morton Museum — Morton Museum of Collierville History, 196 N. Main St., Collierville, 6:30–8 PM, free, reserve a ticket ahead. Opera Memphis's 30 Days of Opera tour heads east with a greatest-hits set in Collierville's history museum. Details

Mark Allen, then Office trivia — Crosstown Brewing Co., 1264 Concourse Ave., music 4–6 PM, trivia 7–9 PM, trivia is free to play. An early set of live music in the taproom, then a trivia night that's all Dunder Mifflin. Details

NBA training camps open around the league today, which puts the Grizzlies officially back to work. Preseason games start Saturday, Oct. 3, and the regular season tips off Oct. 20. (via NBA.com)

The Tigers filled in their 2027 schedule over the weekend: Toledo comes to Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium for the opener on Sept. 4, 2027, and Memphis goes to Toledo in 2028. The two schools have never played. This Saturday it's at Charlotte, 2:30 PM on ESPN+. (via Memphis Athletics)

If you drive late this week, expect overnight lane closures, generally 8 PM to 6 AM. TDOT is resurfacing parts of I-240, fixing bridges on I-55 and paving stretches of I-40, and at least one lane stays open each way. (via TDOT)
