Memphis Farmers Markets

Memphis farmers markets are having a moment — there's one running almost every day of the week somewhere in the metro — but the guides ranking on Google list seasons loosely and miss half the suburbs. So we verified all of it at the source: every market's 2026 days, hours, and season, plus the SNAP double-match programs that make fresh produce cheaper than the grocery store.

In the city

Six real markets inside Memphis — including one that never closes for winter.

• Memphis Farmers MarketDowntown / South Front

  The flagship since 2006: Saturdays 8am–1pm, April through October, in the pavilion at Central Station (567 S. Front St). Produce, local meat and dairy, flowers, live music, cooking demos — and EBT tokens at the info table.

• Cooper-Young Community Farmers MarketMidtown

  The year-round one — Saturdays at First Congo (1000 S. Cooper), 8am–noon in summer, 9am–1pm November through March. Its Double Greens program matches SNAP dollars on fruits and vegetables — the best produce deal in the city.

• Agricenter Farmers MarketEast Memphis

  Not a once-a-week market but a daily one: Monday–Saturday, 8am–5pm, May through October at Agricenter International (7777 Walnut Grove) — running since 1986. The place for a Tuesday tomato run.

• Overton Park Community Farmers MarketMidtown

  The after-work option: Thursdays 3–7pm, April–October at the East Parkway pavilion — a Rhodes College + Overton Park Conservancy collaboration with 24+ vendors, SNAP accepted with double-match on produce.

• Black Farmers' Market MemphisSouth Memphis / Soulsville

  In its fifth season: Tuesday afternoons through late September at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church (491 E. McLemore) — local Black farmers and makers, live music, real community. A program of the Center for Black Southern Culture.

• South Memphis Farmers MarketMississippi Blvd

  Supplied by Green Leaf Learning Farm, the USDA-certified organic urban farm — runs Thursdays in season at 1400 Mississippi Blvd; check their Facebook for current hours before you go.

The suburbs — verified 2026 dates

No 'seasonal hours, call ahead' here — these dates come from the markets' own pages.

• Bartlett Station Farmers MarketBartlett

  Saturdays 8am–noon, May 23 through September 26, 2026 — exact dates straight from the market's own site — at W.J. Freeman Park on Bartlett Blvd.

• Collierville Farmers MarketCollierville

  Thursdays 8am–noon through September 24, behind Collierville United Methodist on West Poplar — with a free yoga class every market morning. More next door in our Collierville guide.

• Farm Park FridaysGermantown

  Germantown's short-and-sweet series: every other Friday morning, 9am–1pm, at the Bobby Lanier Farm Park — produce, makers, food trucks, and the farm animals next door. The 2026 run wraps July 24, so it's a next-summer plan after that.

• Olive Branch Farmers MarketOlive Branch, MS

  Saturdays 8am–noon, June through September, in the City Hall lot on Pigeon Roost — 60+ vendors on the DeSoto side. (Our Olive Branch guide has the rest of the town.)

• Hernando Farmers MarketHernando, MS

  The prettiest setting in the metro: Saturdays 8am–1pm, May through October on Hernando's historic square, with a kids' day the last Saturday of every month.

• The farm standsMillington

  Not markets but worth knowing: Jones Orchard's farm stores run Monday–Saturday 8am–6pm (peaches are in right now), and Lightfoot Farm Market pops up the first Saturday of each month, March–November.
